PRODUCT DESCRIPTION

“The text and music of this Requiem, that are following closely the deeds and the tragic death of Yitzhak Rabin, become a Hymn to Peace and to the understanding among people; a very strong statement against violence and wars.

This is a large vocal-symphonic work written for full symphony orchestra , mixed choir, children’s choir and soloists.

The “Lament” is not a religious service but a secular work despite the fact that part of the texts are taken from the Hebrew prayers. The other sources are: the Bible, poems taken from the Hebrew literature of the middle ages, texts of contemporary Israeli poets: there is even a poem dedicated to peace written by 12 years old girl. All the texts are sung in Hebrew”.
